The second half of 2001

On the basis of the indications coming from the FIAIP real estate observatory which as usual monitored the trend of the real estate market in the second half of 2001 thanks to the contribution of over 6,000 real estate operators located throughout the national territory, from a supply point of view, a positive trend is observed in 35% of the cities, stationarity for 40% and a negative trend in the remaining 25%.
Moving on to the number of transactions, the outcome is positive for 55% of the cities and only in a few cases is the trend negative. The price trend records an increase in values ​​in 75% of the cities surveyed, 20% is stationary and only in some cities is the trend negative.
Overall, Fiap recorded a half-yearly change of +3.2% which rises to 6.1% on an annual basis.
Moving on to the rental segment, the offer is stationary in 60%, increasing in 30% and negative in the remaining 10%., while the trend in rental prices records an increase in values ​​in 45% of the cities surveyed, in 55% it is stationary and only in a few cities the trend is negative. The overall balance is an increase of +1.6% on a half-yearly basis and 3.3% on an annual basis. 'The prices published in this price list - specifies Carletto Facco, responsible for the tourism sector - relating to sales and rentals for the next 2002 summer season, essentially do not differ from those produced in the last price list, as the most significant variations usually appear during the summer season, both for houses offered for sale and those given out for rent'.
