Less money to buy a house

The average availability of spending for the purchase of a home in large Italian cities is stabilising. After two years of gradual growth, the surveys carried out in Milan, a metropolis that usually anticipates real estate cycles, recorded a decline in the availability of spending above 199 thousand euros.
According to caseonline.it, in the first quarter of 2002 the analysis of the types most requested by customers highlights an increase in demand for studio and two-room apartments, especially in the two large symbolic cities: Rome and Milan.
In the capital the demand for two-room apartments is around 39.6%, while in Milan it is almost 50 percent.
