Digital solidarity for you who love art

Museums in digital version from every corner of the planet, a wonderful idea to welcome art into your home, whether you are an artist or not, and share it with your family members. There are many streaming or social initiatives from the various exhibition spaces which, day after day, through the internet, bring art, beauty, curiosities, anecdotes and real exhibitions into your home.
In the midst of the Coronavirus #IoRestoACasa emergency, art circulates freely online, all over the world, to spread culture and, above all, nourish the spirit. Here's how you can embark on this wonderful journey, whenever you want, without leaving your home.

From the Louvre in Paris to the Archaeological Museum in Athens, from the British Museum in London to the Prado in Madrid, from the Hermitage in St. Petersburg to the Metropolitan Museum in New York or the National Gallery of Art in Washington, there are many stops on this fantastic journey through art.
In Italy, the Vatican Museums in Rome and the Uffizi Gallery in Florence have also opened their doors to the network. Numerous digital solidarity initiatives by Milan's museums:

Ambrosiana Art Gallery: every day, through its social channels, it gives away short videos, in which the marvelous images of its collection are described and narrated; Pinacoteca di Brera: an expert guide from the museum takes you on a beautiful virtual tour, where the masterpieces and its entire highly valuable collection are illustrated and commented on;

Museum of the Twentieth Century: every day, he talks about the masterpieces of his collection through his Instagram profile; • Royal Palace: every day, through its Instagram profile, there are many appointments and history lessons. Incredible journeys, such as the one that led to the discovery of Tutankhamun, the most famous of the Egyptian pharaohs;

Museum of Science and Technology: a daily appointment on social channels, for all fans of interactive laboratories and scientific insights.
“Stories behind closed doors” is a virtual journey to discover the collections, interactive workshops, current affairs and behind the scenes with video clips, images and unpublished documents;

Mudec: every day, the Museum of Cultures gives away pills even for the little ones. It also offers many curiosities, insights, biographies, exhibitions and personalities who have passed through the Zona Tortona exhibition space, and beyond;

Pirelli HangarBicocca: the space expands and makes its digital proposal available to the public. Many insights and numerous contributions from the artists;

Triennial: taking inspiration from Boccaccio's Decameron (at the time of the Black Death, which struck Florence in 1348), whose story is very current, the idea was to involve artists, designers, architects, intellectuals, musicians, singers, writers, directors and journalists, to 'inhabit' the empty spaces of the Triennale, and to develop a personal narrative. Every day, at 5.00 pm, a new short story is broadcast live on the Triennale Instagram channel;

Prada Foundation: its digital offering is broad. The museum's website and all social channels have now become a daily appointment and a platform to delve deeper into the cultural offering and experiment with new formats.

Another truly incredible initiative, for those who love the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, is the retrospective “Faces of Frida”, il più grande museo virtuale al mondo a lei dedicato, messo a disposizione da Google Arts & Culture.

“Faces of Frida” is a huge virtual exhibition in which 800 works belonging to 33 international museums are collected. A true immersion in the world of this great artist, from works to letters, from personal photographs to jewels, from diary pages to the virtual visit of the House of Azul.
