Emergenza coronavirus: le proposte di Fimaa per l'economia e l'immobiliare

The "Cura Italia" decree is an important first step, but not sufficient to address the emergency. This was stated by the president of Fimaa, Santino Taverna, who also revealed the proposals of the Federation of real estate agents to help the economic sector in general and real estate in particular.

Wider deadline moratorium.

'We need a much broader and more inclusive moratorium on deadlines, we need to make the measures to guarantee liquidity for businesses operational as soon as possible, taking into account local taxes (IMU and Tasi) and the many others that are not included in the current suspension provisions.'

Extension of the tax credit and reintroduction of the flat rate tax for commercial rentals

'We have put forward the request to include the tax credit in favor of the tenant of properties registered in the C/1 register (shops and workshops), equal to 60% of the amount of the rent, also for properties that fall into the cadastral category A/10 (offices) and to reintroduce the dry tax rate for commercial properties both for newly signed and existing rental contracts, without limits on surface area and by extending the rule also to properties intended for office use and the sector tertiary sector, precisely with the aim of facilitating a recovery that is expected to be very difficult, in a very serious, unprecedented situation like the one we are experiencing and which unfortunately we will experience economically even when the health crisis is over'.

Allowance for self-employed workers

'We believe the allocation foreseen for compensation to self-employed workers is inadequate. If we parameterize the amount of 780 euros of citizen's income per month to 600 euros for the self-employed, one cannot help but be astonished. If operators will also have to advance the 2020 taxes in relation to what was produced in the previous year, we must ask ourselves not only how to remain on the market but also how to be able to deploy the resources necessary to start the recovery'.

Increase in liquidity

'We are convinced that we need to intervene with an increase in liquidity not only by the European Union but also by the International Monetary Fund. We are facing a global crisis that affects all countries in the world. It is an exceptional situation and we cannot afford to permanently close businesses and real estate agencies. We need tangible help with the involvement of all actors, including at a global level.
