Dal punto di vista della destinazione, si conferma l'interesse per le zone che si affacciano sul Mediterraneo, dove l'offerta residenziale è elevata e l'attività edilizia intensa.Nella maggior parte di questi Paesi, inoltre, le banche offrono mutui a condizioni vantaggiose e le società di management sono in grado di gestire l'immobile nel periodo in cui non viene utilizzato dai proprietari.
